ACT for Kids is a not-for-profit organisation working to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect in Australia.

We provide services to abused children and their families through our network of therapy centres. Our services include intensive therapy and counselling, safe houses, parental education, and safety workshops for primary school students.

Your support over the past 12 months has allowed us to provide youth mentoring and parenting support services, a network of four safe houses for Aboriginal children in remote communities and information sessions for vulnerable parents as well as in-school workshops to teach kids how to stay safe.

Every year around 55,000 Australian children are confirmed as abused and neglected. This is just the tip of the iceberg as many cases go unreported. Tragically, only a few find their way to an ACT for Kids centre where they receive the professional help they need.

But with your support we are able to reach out to more and more children and families each year.
